Rockwall!

Rockwall Run 2009: Numa Pass, Kootenay National Park

The most incredible thing about the Rockwall trail in Kootenay National Park is this: it's 55km of non-stop sensory overload. For the entire length of this epic trail, the scenery is incredible from beginning, to end. As well as being physically exhausting, it's mentally exhausting - all of those jaw dropping vistas make your eyes bug wide and your head spin. It's truly, an epic in every sense of the word.

Rockwall Run 2010: Numa Pass, Kootenay National Park

Trails are different every single time you visit them. I sure do enjoy paying my yearly homage to the Rockwall trail: it's a true Canadian Rockies Classic. I think this was my 4th time running the Rockwall in it's entirety. There have been lots of other trips to enjoy the bounty of the Rockwall trail and every time you discover something new and wonderous. The weather, landscape and scenery are constantly shifting and evolving, opening the senses to a new journey every single time.

Here's some images from my day spent on the Rockwall with Mike and Tina, from the beginning to the end.

Hiya Sue, JeffO, Helen! Yup the Rockwall is out of this world. Rain, sun or snow - it's stunning. Me So Lucky.

Helen - I love that you're stopping by to say Hi! Enjoy.
