After a day in The City, I need to get back out on the trails to decompress. I seemed to have developed a small injury this week from last weekends skiing trips: my forearm has been swollen all week, and I can't do anything involving gripping or weight bearing. Hmmm. No skiing for me this weekend. Fortunately my legs aren't broken, so I ran on both Saturday and Sunday for a total time of about 5 hours of running. You don't need ski poles to run!! The 5 hours gave me plenty of time to obsess about future race plans: it is that time of year where I like to set myself some goals for the upcoming year and put some races on the calendar! I've got some great ideas.....now I just need to decide!
