A Castle in the Rockies

Postcards from Banff....
"Hi mom, I'm having so much fun in Banff. Every day I go out and run around in the woods. It is a pretty special place and I love it. I think I may never leave! I love the hot tub in the backyard and the view out of the front window. I think Keith and I are going to retire here and sit and look at the view every day. Maybe we will get rocking chairs. And a sighting scope! I don't ever get tired of looking at Cascade Mountain. Living in a National Park is swell!"

I thought you might enjoy a few images of the popular sights of Banff, including the historic Banff Springs Hotel. It really is a Castle in the Rockies!

Thanks Gary, it was great to have you as my personal manslave for all of those years! The new hired help just isn't as good....

Hi "Yunk"

Sounds good to me. Better get the spare bedroom ready and make it three rocking chairs!! Calgary is getting way to big for me.

That's nice - but I'm not jealous. Really. Who wants to look out and see a big dumb rock out there on the other side of a puddle?
I can look out across a STREET! And there's a nice HOUSE over there that keeps those glaring sunsets out of my eyes.
I'm so lucky. Aren't you jealous, now that you know how much better I have it?
(OK, maybe I'm just a little jealous.)

Hi Mom!
I'm glad you finally figured out how to post a comment! And you know my rocking chair is your rocking chair....

Jeffo-
Poor boy. At least you are getting out there every weekend! Some of my most hard-core friends are the city folk, they have to make a point of getting out!
People here tend to get a little lazy and don't take advantage of what they got sometimes...
