Spring Has Sprung, the Grass has Ris', I Wonder Where My Bear Spray Is??

Well, the grass hasn't exactly risen but the bears are coming out of hibernation. The bear spray is back and has asssumed its' home on the side of my hydration pack. *Sigh.* My friends have also come out from hibernation!! Mike decided on wearing shorts and Steve decided on pajama bottoms on last nights run. What can I say? They are fashionable guys. Here are Mike and Steven in action on Wednesday night. It was great to get out for a run with the boys.

I made it out for 3 easy runs this week, and on tonights run, I finally felt like I'm getting my Mojo back. Phew. You know. The libido. The life force. The essence. The right stuff. What the French call a certain... I don't know what. But, Yeeeeah-baby-yeeah! My legs are back!

That Diablo reeeeally kicked my ass. The little time-out was good and necessary, but it's time to get back in the saddle! What's coming up next? So many ideas....

  6. I'm glad we weren't the only ones to have our butts kicked by Diablo - I am just thankful that I feel good enough to run this weekend given the forecast for spring weather - Yeah! I really like your idea of single track, my dog and a walk with running breaks

  7. Yay, it's spring!! Yep, I saw my first bear of the season out on trail yesterday. Fortunately we don't have grizzlies, so I don't have to carry spray. That would suck. But I love seeing the bears. They're beautiful.

  8. Megs, hullllo? Austen Powers? She Spy Who Shagged Me? The Best Movie Ever?!?

I was trying to compare my legs being gone to Austen's Mojo being stolen...but somehow you now think that I'm horny.

    P.S. I love that word.
H-O-R-N-Y. It has what the french call a certain...
    I don't know what....!!

Hi Doone! I think we need a little Lake Minnewanka singletrack to get us back in the saddle!

Howdy Gretchen. Oooo! I love to see the bears, too. They are so amazing. I just like to see them from the luxury of my car!

    ....and finally, welcome to Sue!

  10. I thought you used up all your bear spray on that mad mamma elk last year! Is there a little left in the can?

Pajama bottoms for running? Trend setter or just lagging on the laundry?

Good to hear that your legs are feeling better. It's nice to feel like you have some spring back in them after a long hard run like Diablo.
